I was just making some updates on the website and linked to the blog, and was surprised to see that I have not posted in way too long!

Fall Class Schedule

I am finally posting the Fall Schedule of Classes. I hope you can find something here that you would be interested in taking.  One For the Money .......................$35* Cheryl Lewis - 1 class -Advanced Beginner This versatile purse will be a favorite for the girl on the go. This bag is just the right size for so many things. It is perfect for an e-reader or iPad mini, or put in your wallet and cell phone and you are out the door. Candy Stiffler • 3 Classes •  Beginner We will start you on your journey into the joys of quilting! You will learn the correct rotary cutting, piecemaking, basic machine quilting, and binding techniques to make your first quilt. This class is designed for those who want to learn to quilt or for those who want to refresh their basic quilting skills by completing a small quilt. There will be homework between classes in order to complete this quilt. Pattern is included in class fee. Tuesday, September 30, October 7 & 14........... 6pm – 9pm Santa.................................................$35* Loris Nebbia - 1 class -Advanced Beginner Loris was with us for a demo at our Christmas in July and all those attending wanted the class. So, Loris will be teaching her Santa here at Quilt Vine. We got this Teddy Bear pattern and technique from Alice Kish. Chris has made one for every child she knows and can't seem to stop. Class Policy

Basic Class Supplies Needed

* Sewing Machine, foot and all electrical cords. (Make sure it is working prior to arrival.)

Please know how to use your machine. We do not have time to take away from other students to help you with a machine you do not know how to use!

* Quality sewing thread

* Medium size cutting mat & rotary cutter

* Small scissors for clipping threads, cutting paper, etc.

* Favorite ruler for cutting strips (other rulers may be listed on the supply list)

* Pins, seam ripper, etc.

Other Supplies

* All class attendees must have a legal copy of the class pattern/book to participate.

*A class supply list will be supplied to you at time of class enrollment.

Class Fee

* The Class Fee must be collected when you sign up for the class to guarantee your seat. Each fee is listed next to the class listing.

Cancellation

* If you cannot attend a class for which you have registered, you must let us know 7 days prior to class time to receive a store credit.

* If you cancel after the 7-day time allowance there will be no refund.

* If you sign up within 7 days of class, the above policies still apply.

* A minimum of 3 students is required for class. If this requirement is not met, usually the class will be cancelled and you will be refunded your class fee.

* Quilt Vine reserves the right to cancel classes for any reason. If this happens, you will be refunded your class fee and/or supplies, excluding fabric.

Class Time

*All class participants are asked to turn off cell phones (or place them on vibrate). If a call is necessary, please leave the room to complete the call.

* Please do not bring children or pets to class.

* Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to class time. Class will begin promptly on time.

City Sampler Sew-Along

Ten month sew-along beginning in January. Join us as we sew our way through Tula Pink’s 100 Modern Quilt Blocks. We will meet the 3rd Tuesday of each month. Choose afternoon or evening, depending on your schedule. Book purchase is required. Some fabric will be provided. Sign up early to reserve your spot. 

$10 one time fee.
