On Thursday the Round Robin Bee got together for the first time. We each created a center block.

We met to show each other our block and to pass it on.

We now have 2 months to add the next border.
Marlene
We will have a total of 4 borders each done by someone else.
Alice
At the end we will get the one back with our own center block.
Esther
It was up to each one of us whether we wanted to send along fabric to be used.
Lou
The first border to be added is to have triangles.
Peggy
The next border will have squares or rectangles.
Sylvia
The next border will have applique'.
Margie
And the final border will have points.
Donna
We are scheduled to have them completed in June.

Oh! I love this idea!! And the center blocks are just gorgerous! What a hoot to see a Mary Lou and a Marlene (my sister is Marlene) -- and both had great blocks, as was yours, Candy! (Wishing I were part of your bee! :-D)

Finally, people who look like me. Let's just say not a 20-something with a baby or two. I made my first quilt in 1980. I occasionally want to connect with people who have seen as many years as my quilt! Thanks for being there; wish I could join you.
