Another Christmas Party; Another Day of No Quilting

Bayside Quilters of the Eastern Shore had their Christmas Party today. As always we had a lot of fun and a lot of food. We played several games. The first game was "Baby Faces." We were asked to send in a picture as a child, preferably at Christmas. I found this one taken when I was 11. There were 24 participants. We had to match the person with their picture. I think a lot of the ladies were able to guess mine for 2 reason. First of all it was the only color picture and secondly a lot of them thought my 13 year old daughter looks like me.

The next game was "Christmas Sweater Contest." The winner was Jeanne (center). Sandy and Alice were 2nd and 3rd.

The next game was "Last Quilter Standing." When something was said that was true for you, you had to sit down.

Pat was one of the first ones down because she has no UFOs. She was the only one to sit for that statement.
How can you not have any UFOs?

Ruth was the only one to sit down for having only one sewing machine
.

Irene had to sit because she has sewn over her finger with her sewing machine.

Carole was the winner of  "Last Quilter Standing."

Sherry won a basket of goodies for selling the winning raffle ticket.

The rest are pictures of the Sweater Parade.
