Etsy Quilts

Lately I have been trying to get some things up on our Etsy Shop. I already have a number of our Monthly Minis posted (patterns and kits). Now am I am working on getting some quilts up for sale. These quilts are ones that were used for shop samples. Some of them we have displayed out on the shop porch and are little bit faded. The quilts that are faded will be listed at a discount. They all will be reasonably priced because it would be nice to move them since we no longer need them.

I may need to take some more pictures since the sun was so bright the day I took these.

Weekend Retreat.

The back is just a bleached muslin.

This pattern is Dizzy Lizzy and is made with scraps and the background is White Kona.

The back is a yellow print.

This six-point star is something I came up with. The fabric is from Art Gallery and the background is Kona Ash.

The pattern used here is from Jane Sassaman's book. I am not sure what the fabric is.

This is a disappearing Pinwheel by Missouri Star Quilt Company.
The fabric in the blocks is a Moda Layer Cake.

This pattern is Sweet Life from Camille Roskelley's book Simply Retro.
All but one of the fabrics in the blocks is by Tula Pink.

White backing.

This pattern is Flight North.
The center fabric is by Martha Negley. The rest of the fabric is Kaffe Fassett Collectives.

The back is a purple print.

This wall hanging is a Pat Sloan Design, Chelsea's Summer Garden.

This is an original design of mine. The fabrics are nautical and the background is Quilters Linen in Grey. This quilt is very masculine.

The back is a black print.

A Christmas sample from last year.

Show--n-Tell

I just love it when our friends bring in their finished projects to share with us.

This is Ester's block from the book  "Best Ever Applique Sampler" by Piece O Cake.

Colette had to join in  the fun and make an Elephant Quilt.

Ellen, a relative of Colette's, was visiting from Ireland. Colette just had to get her quilting. Here is her Elephant quilt. She must have used what Colette had leftover. Notice that her Elephant is a little different from Colette's, it has a heart.

Lucille's Log Cabin Quilt.
See all of those beautiful Kaffe Fassett fabrics that she got at Quilt Vine.

Marlyne's Tiny Treasures.

 Maylyne's place mats

Many of you may recognize this pattern used here. Chris originally made Chris' Fishes' with this pattern. Chris also taught it as a class here. So we have seen many many quilts  made with this pattern. Well, here is the latest one. Mary made this one with the  Snow Day Fabric.

Lynn's Dot Party Quilt that she made in class here.

Another Lola quilt by Mary.
I love how she used "Sweet Lady Jane" by Jane Sassaman.

Look At That Floor Cloth

About 6 months ago I saw a floor cloth on the Internet (I don't remember where) that was made using fabric. I really didn't think about it for a long time.  This past weekend I wanted to work on something and needed to get away from the sewing machine. I am not sure what made me think of this but I knew that I just had to do it.

Between home and the shop I knew that I could find everything needed to make this. I remembered seeing some linoleum remnants in the attic at the shop. So Sunday afternoon I went to the shop and cut a piece of linoleum and a piece of fabric. It really did not take me too long to decide on this Jane Sassaman fabric.

I posted this picture on Facebook the day after I made it and it received a great response. I am going to be doing a demo at the shop on Saturday June 14.

The fabric used on the floor cloth is from this Jane Sassaman line Sweet Lady Jane.
