Visit to a New Quilt Shop

Yesterday my daughter and I went to visit a quilt shop I had never been to before. Lil Country Shop is great quilt shop located in Middletown, Delaware.

We got some Amy Butler fabric and a pattern to make a foot stool pillow.

The shop had a lot of neat displays like this baby crib.

I got a pack of printable, fusible wash away applique stabilizer. When I try it I will let you know how I like it. I am thinking this might be a good product to use in my Rhapsody quilt.

I just love the rick-rack hanging  from the ladder.

I had to have some of this fabric. I am not sure what I will use it for. I got 2 yards of it.

After the quilt shop we went to the mall. We don't go mall shopping very often because the closest one is an hour away. It was a great day just me and my daughter.

We might do it again on Monday. I love Spring Break!!!

It's always fun to explore a new quilt shop. I love to see the creative ways each owner displays their fabric and notions. I think it's always a successful trip if I walk oout with something.
