Flight North Class

We held a class on Friday called "Flight North." This is a simple pattern that is beginner friendly. In the allotted class time everyone got the top together except for the final border. Since we are open until 7 pm on Fridays, two of the ladies stayed and finished theirs.

Linda's is almost done. All of her fabrics were purchased at Quilt Vine and it features Moda fabric from the line "Boho."

Marianne and her friend, Susan, stayed to finished their quilt tops. Marianne loves taking classes here. She travels from the other side of the Bay Bridge to take classes in Trappe. I do love her butterflies even if she didn't get that fabric here.

Susan came along with Marianne. She has only made a table runner before, so this is her first quilt. Isn't that something; her first quilt top made in a day.

Marianne brought this problem quilt with her. She was having trouble with the exploding volcano in the center. I took it apart with my handy new seam ripper (which I will share in another post), did some trimming, and put it back together. Marianne was thrilled.

We still have more classes coming up in May and June. Click on the link to the right to see what we have to offer.
