Welcome to Quilt Vine

Quilt Vine opened the doors on Thursday; and what a glorious day it was. Come on in and take a tour.

The stairway is stunning. This old house has a lot of character.

We are so excited about all of the new fabric that has arrived so far. A lot more will be coming in soon. We are waiting for many of the fall lines to be delivered.

Along with the best selection of fabric we also have notions and many great patterns.

On Thursday several flower arrangements arrived from our friends to help celebrate this special day with us. They are all so beautiful!

Thread displayed in the gumball machine.

Several years ago when antiquing, my daughter and I spotted this gumball machine. My daughter was able to convince me to purchase this with the ideas that some day it would be in my quilt shop. While waiting for this dream to become a reality the gumball machine has been in my daughter's bedroom. When I talked to her about bringing it to the shop she did not want to give it up. I reminded her that putting it in the shop was the reason that we bought it in the first place. Her comment to that was, "I never thought that you would ever really have a quilt shop." Back then I don't think I thought I would ever really have a quilt shop either. Dreams can come true.

This jelly cupboard makes a great display piece.

Kaffe Fassett fabrics look fantastic and add a punch of color.

Last weekend, Lou, Faith and Karli cut a lot of fat quarters.

Don't those fat quarters look great in all of these baskets?

A view from the checkout.

Our basics wall; Kona solids and Michael Miller Krystals.

This was a tour of the main room in the shop. I hope you liked it. Later I will take you on a tour of the rest of the shop.
