Hey, It's Good To Be Back Home Again

Sometimes this ole farm feels like a long lost friend.

While we were away this guy showed up in the bottom of our pool. Kari was looking after the place for us. She got her dad to remove the turtle from the pool. He said it was a Diamond Back Terrapin. I have never seen one of those. Why did it have to show up while we were away? By the way, Kari's dad just happens to be the local guy to get called to deal with or remove troublesome wildlife. I'll have to ask him if he ever had to remove a turtle before.

I was in the car about 7 hours today. Thank goodness we got home in time for me to go sew with the 7-Sisters Quilt Guild tonight.
