The other day when I posted this quilt I had a couple requests for the pattern. It is also the same quilt in my header. The pattern is from McCall's Quilting Magazine August 2009.
This is Sherry's quilt. It is made with fabrics she got in France. She wanted the Fleur De Li in the
sashing. The best way I could come up with doing them was freehand. I am happy with how it turned out.
My oldest son got a kitten to keep him company in his new house. He named him
Mongo after a character from the movie "Blazing Saddles." Isn't he adorable?
.Today is
Bayside Quilt Guild. It is our annual sew-in for outreach. My daughter will be going along. She will be able to earn service learning hours for school.
