My Amy Butler

I am determined to finish at least one of my quilts each month this year. I quilted this yesterday. All I need to do now is bind it, and I already have the binding ready.

I have loved Amy Butler fabrics for some time, but I had trouble deciding on which of her fabrics to use. So, I decided I needed to make a scrappy quilt using many of her fabrics. I settled on a large diamond to highlight the prints. The length of the diamond point-to-point measures 15 inches. Overall the quilt is 56" x 84". I decided not to custom quilt in each diamond because I did not want to detract from the prints, so I quilted an allover feather in the center.

Stunning quilts! Outstanding quilting, too! I belong to a Liberated quiters' yahoo group: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Libquilters/. Think about joining us. It's a group that pretty much does what they want quilting-wise with all kinds of quilting (traditional and Liberated, as well as some "on-the-edge". I think you'd fit right in.
