Show-n-Tell at Modern Quilters, February 2014

Not very many people brought show-n-tell, but those that did brought several.

We were working on our raffle quilt.

The proceeds from the raffle go to the Trappe Volunteer Fire Company where we meet.

The quilt we be raffled off at the Trappe Fair this Summer.

Customers Quilts

I have been trying to get caught up on my longarm quilting. Both of these quilts were made by Lou. She started both of them in classes that I taught at Bayside Quilters.

This Lightning class I taught in the Spring.

With the swirls quilted in it I think it kind of reminds me of "Starry Night."

I taught this "New Wave" class in September. What a cute baby quilt.

This quilt was made by Lucille. It is another one of the "Wedding Quilts." I have done so many of these now that I didn't even bother to take a picture of the entire quilt. This quilt was first made by Colette. When a customer brings me one they just say, "Quilt it like Colette's."

Lightning Class

I made this cute little quilt in August 2011 during Hurricane Irene.

Then I made 2 like this in December 2012; one for a gift and one for me. It is super simple.

On Wednesday afternoon after the Bayside Quilters meeting I taught this workshop.

For just an afternoon class the girls did get a lot done.

Each one is so different and so beautiful!

I really do enjoy teaching quilting classes.
