This Storm At Sea was made be the 7-Sisters Quilt Guild.
It will be raffled off in June to benefit the Trappe Volunteer Fire Company.
I thought it would be neat for the quilting to feel flowing like water.
The quilting was very simple but I think it has the effect I was going for.

Great style of quilting, it really looks as though the quilt is floating on the sea. Great colours too.
SUch a beautiful quilt! is the top hand stiched or machine quilted?
This is an amazing quilt!!!
I really love this quilt! I'm working on a Storm at Sea quilt myself and just wrote a blog post asking my readers for advice on how to quilt it. I included a link to your blog, I hope you don't mind. Most of the feedback I'm getting is that your quilt is their favorite! Did you draw any of your quilting lines beforehand or did you just eyeball it? It is really gorgeous.
Love your blending of the blue with the green. It really is a well balanced and beautiful quilt. Now I wish I was the owner. Where did you get your pattern I think I need to get it! Jule
Beautiful!!!! Love the colors and the quilting
LOVE this quilt! The colors are gorgous and the quilting really pulls it all together!!
Beautiful Quilting!
This is just beautiful. I found your blog today, because PAT SLOAN posted a photo and link on Facebook. Great to find another place to take classes. Couldn't tell if you have a shop or just give classes? Brick and morter shop or just ETSY ? You are about an hour from me in DE and was considering a road trip!
Love It! Would love to try this pattern someday, it is on my todo list.
Love this quilt - the colors are terrific and the quilting is absolutely perfect for it. I have been collecting fabric in this colorway and have now found the perfect use for it!
just stunning!
Love the quilting on this, adds so much more movement to a quilt that already flows. Storm at Sea is my favorite pattern.
LOVE the sunflower quilt (table runner?)! Is there a pattern available?
Love the way you quilted this. Was this done free hand? Can you explain?
I wanted to quilt something simple and quick on this quilt. I quilted it on my long arm.
It is simply a large squiggle with a swirl once in a while.
