"Outside In"

I will be teaching a Machine Quilting And Machine Applique class this Spring featuring this pattern "Outside In" by Piece O Cake. It is in their book, "Applique With Attitude."

First I pieced the quilt and then basted it using Misty Fuse.

Then I machine quilted using a walking foot and a serpentine stitch.

Here it is all quilted and trimmed.

The appliques were then fused on.

The appliques were stitched on using a blanket stitch in a coordinating color thread.

Finally, the binding was applied and it was ready to be hung in the shop.
