Come on in and see the rest of the shop. This room is to the left of the main room.

In this room you will find a crib. Here you will see juvenile prints and 30s fabric. There is still much more to come.

This room is also home to zippers, rick rack and laminated fabric. I would love to make a raincoat out of one of those laminates.

I had to show you the radiators. The detail is amazing. You would not believe how many customers have remarked on the radiators.

This sample is made with Riley Blake fabric, Pieces of Hope, that is promoting Autism awareness. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this fabric goes toward Autism Research.

Books are also kept in this room. Many customers have also commented on our selection of fabulous books. To be honest, I am surprised at the number of books we have sold so far.

We have chosen to display our rick rack in candy jars.

Next is the room to the rear of the main room. By the wood stove is the Christmas corner.

These stockings were made from the pattern, "Merry" by Thimble Blossoms. There are actually 4 stockings in this pattern. The fourth is made of hexagons which is pieced by hand; I am working on it. I hope I get it finished in time to display for Christmas.

We have kits for the pattern "Town Square" from the line "Skater's Village" by Windham Fabrics.

We have the entire line of fabric, "Good Vibrations," by Windham Fabrics. This quilt "Sliding Scales" is made from the Good Vibrations fabric line.

There is a built in China Cabinet in this room. I didn't think it was a good idea to put products in here because of the antique glass, so we decided an antique display would be perfect for this spot.

We just had to make banners to celebrate our opening.

It was quite a fantastic feeling to hang the open flag that first day. There were just two of us working that day. The shop was so crowded you could hardly get around. I wish I would have had a chance to get some pictures of the crowd. I kind of felt like I was throwing a party and I was stuck in the kitchen. I will be sure to have extra help when we have our Grand Opening so I can really experience it and take it all in.
