How Many Wedding Quilts Are There?

Colette was the first to make this Wedding Quilt. She has made an untold number of them. She also taught a workshop on it so I have had even more of them to quilt. Colette's friend, Jane made this quilt.

She felt that the fabric on her 4-patches was a little light. She really wanted the diagonal to be emphasized so she asked to have the ivy leaves quilted in a darker thread.

The rest of the quilting was done in a light natural thread.

Other than the ivy leaves the rest of the quilting was up to me.

I always love the feathers in the border so of course I had to do that again.

Although, I did do the border a little bit differently than usual.

I am loving how this quilt turned out.
