My mom made this quilt for my new nephew who was born on my daughter's birthday, April 22. You can see from these first 2 pictures that I am playing around with the lighting for photographing my quilts. I like that the top one really shows the quilting (that is what I am about). But the light is too bright at the top.
This second one shows the entire quilt better but it is not that great and the quilting does not show. I might need to invest in some lighting on stands. I am not sure what because of course I want it to be inexpensive.
My mom loves to do hand embroidery like redwork, bluework, etc.
