First Shop Sample

When Chris was not helping at the shop this week she was working on this sample. We have this entire fabric line and I think we will be making up kits. Hopefully I will get it quilted soon.

Here is Chris and I at the Denton Shop Hop last Saturday.

Cheryl, Karli, and Lou selling raffle tickets for 7-Sisters at the Shop Hop last week.

Jan finished her Lightning Quilt top from the class I taught at Bayside in April.

The Shop Is Shaping Up

Things are really coming together at the shop.

When these 6 inch Kaffe Fassett Design Strips arrived I squealed with excitement. Don't you just love them?

The fabric has been arriving several days a week.

Lately I have been trying to decide where all of the furniture goes.

The basics are on the white shelves.

The nursing rocker looks good by the wood stove.

This room is going to look great with juvenile prints and 30's reproduction fabrics.

 Love these Ty Pennington fabrics.

I couldn't resist putting the rick rack in candy jars.

Michael Miller fabrics.

I recovered this little settee today with an Amy Butler Decorator Fabric.

Love, love, love Jane Sassaman fabrics!

This jelly cupboard is a nice place for thread and patterns.

Things are shaping up and there is still a lot to do before we open.

Fabric Keeps Coming In

Fabric has been arriving every day this week.

It is like Christmas every day!

The Michael Miller Krystals are beginning to line the basics wall.

The Kona Solids are still lined up on the floor.

Some must needed white-on-whites.

Today Chris cut some fabric from Windham's Skater's Village collection to make a sample quilt.

How do we decide what fabric goes on which shelves?

Faith really enjoyed opening boxes and checking in fabric.

Opening day is quickly approaching. There is still so much to do!
